Financial
Overview
DCSA's
financial objectives are based on a value-based management concept with
the ultimate aim of achieving sustained growth and profitability. An
increase in turnover from R5.3 billion in 1998 to R8.5 billion in 2000
is largely the result of ongoing investments made by the company. The
turnover for 2001 showed a massive 64% increase, to R13,9 billion.
Linked
to the worldwide DCAG network, DCSA's Finance function is represented
in all three South African locations, Zwartkop, East London and Pinetown.
To support DCSA's objective of efficient, high value service further,
a project to share resources with DaimlerChrysler Services and Debis
Fleet Management is being implemented.
